Apple announced its iPad mini yesterday and just made the 7-inch tablet market hotter. The Google Nexus 7 running Android 4.1 (soon to get an update after Google’s expected announcement on 10/29) was the best-selling Android tablet in the UK over the summer. Amazon and Barnes & Noble both announced their 7-inch tablets in September with very well-received high definition screens for under $200.
