Twitter CEO Dick Costolo unveiled a new look on NBC’s Today Show this morning. The new look focused on user profiles which allows a “header image”, similar to Facebook’s “Cover Image” for your Timeline. The user profile pic and bio are now centered and overlaid on top of the header image.
The Twitter iPad, iPhone and Android apps are also getting a redesign. “When you tap tweets in the iPad app, they expand in your stream to show a photo or video or article summaries from major websites,” the San Francisco-based firm told “Today.”
The new user profile look is on an opt-in basis right now before it becomes mandatory in the upcoming months. You can checkout the new profile settings here: https://twitter.com/settings/design
